How do I save and find a meme?
Tap the heart to keep a favorite in My Pocket. Search for a quote, show, person or words saved with the picture. Collections are optional groups you make.
How do I add my own picture?
Choose Import / Add. Add one PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF, up to 10 MB. On a computer, you can also drop a file or paste an image into the main app; a copied web link will not work.
How do I send or save a meme?
On a phone, tap an image or GIF to open your device’s normal share options. On a computer, use Share or Copy for still images. Copy still frame makes a static picture of a GIF. On iPhone, direct sharing to Messenger can turn a GIF into a still; choosing Copy in that same share sheet and pasting into Messenger can keep it animated. Results depend on the receiving app. Use the three-dot button on a phone for more options, or right-click the image on a computer. On a computer, the GIF share button opens the normal system share sheet with the original animated file. For active Shared Library GIFs, Copy GIF link copies a URL to a secure OSMS page, not the GIF file, to paste into Messenger or another conversation; the animation plays when the recipient opens it. On a computer, single-click the image to view its details. Choose Save for a Photos-first option or a separate Downloads option. On iPhone, choose Save Image in the native menu to add it to Photos.
Who can see my pictures?
My Pocket only keeps your upload hidden from other people. Shared Library lets anyone visiting OSMS see, save and send it.
Shared Library starts selected when you save; pick My Pocket only to keep a picture to yourself. Your name isn’t shown unless you turn on “Show my name on things I share to the library”. Your collections and activity stay private. People may keep shared copies they already saved.
What does AI do?
AI can help fill in details so you can find a picture later. You can fix mistakes or save without it.
With automatic details on, smaller copies of the image may go to OpenAI, Google, and visual search services before you save. Automatic details are on by default: the import screen says so, and you can turn them off or skip a single picture.
How do I change the words in a picture?
Open the Workshop, choose a still picture and press Find text, or draw a box around the text. Change words keeps the picture’s own lettering; Remove text and Clean up erase the part you pick. Before anything is sent, a box shows exactly which part goes to OpenAI or Google (Gemini); nothing else leaves your browser. There’s a daily limit, and saved versions are marked as edited.
Clean up is for your own reaction pictures. Don’t use it to remove a creator’s credit, a copyright notice or a stock-photo watermark.
